Backcountry Exploration! - Tucson

Take a break from the city and head out with ITE  for a day trip into the beautiful Sonoran Desert.  There’s no telling what kind of plants and animals we’ll come across on our exploration – javelina, cactus fruits, giant saguaros, jackrabbits, insects of all kinds, snakes, and a plethora of other wildlife await our discovery!  Be prepared to engage in challenging skill building games along the way – such as Eagle Eye or Deer Stalk.

EcoSkills are outdoor competence building workshops that are educational, hands-on and fun while furthering the ITE mission of connecting teens with their community through experiences in nature. Unless specified, all EcoSkills begin and conclude at the Prescott College Tucson Center.  Participants are responsible for their own nutritious, no-waste lunch.
