Understanding Water Issues in the Prescott Region

Are you confused or conflicted by what you read or hear about our water issues, or are you simply interested in learning more? In the second of a three-part series, Citizens Water Advocacy Group president John Zambrano will present “Understanding Water Issues in the Prescott Region” on Sunday, Oct. 21 from 2:00- 3:30 p.m. at the Prescott Public Library, 215 E. Goodwin Street. Zambrano is a retired environmental engineer who has spent his career in the field of water resources. He will discuss the basics of our water resources and groundwater hydrology, including safe yield, the proposed Big Chino pipeline and threats to the Upper Verde River.
