Saving Wild Americans: learning about the Endangered Species Act

It has been called Americas toughest environmental law. This year is the 40th anniversary of the Endangered Species Act (ESA).Learn about why Congress created this law and how it protects American wildlife threatened by extinction.Find out how you have a significant influence on which species are listed, and how this role will increase due to climate change.

This talk is presented by Environmental Studies student, Kirk Thomas Olsen, as part of hissenior project for graduation from Prescott College. It is free and open to the public and will be presented in the Natural History Institute's gallery at Prescott College.

The gallery is located on the NW corner of Grove and Sheldon, on the creek-facing side of the building (310 Grove Ave.).
